In your eyes where shadows lay.

Is the pain for which you shouldnt pay.

They reflect the one who tore you apart.

Your smile tries to cover the pain in your eyes,

But it all shines through the mask of lies.

He tore you to peices threw them aside.

You hide away the hurt so your tears subside.

Your laugh faulters, proving me right.

Your smile fades when he's within your sight.

I know how you hurt, I really do.

Trust me when I say I've been there too.

A heart will heal with time and care.

But to heal you need him to be there.

You need to catch him before he gets too far.

Remind him, without him, you're not up to par.

Make him see reason, or I'll do it myself.

I hate to see you like this, the broken doll on the shelf.

Your eyes reveal what lies within you.

You see the clouds yourself within your gaze of blue.
