I'm trapped in the flames.
I'm frozen in fear.
I scream as I die.
But no one can hear.
He comes to take me.
Flames, pain and all.
Captured in his arms, I cry.
He whispers, "I wont let you fall."
His white wings lift us.
Into the blue sky.
I'm scared and confused.
Did I really die?
He laughed aloud.
Answering my fears.
"Not dead." He said.
"No let go of your tears."
I cried for the first time,
In my few years of life.
While those fifteen years,
Where full of troubles and strife.
"I've come to save you."
He held me closer still.
Suddenly I jerked awake.
The burn was agony, my screams shrill.
Out in the distance,
Beyond the flames were sounds.
"Just hold on, we're comming!"
I was going to be found.
His face was there then,
And his strong arms.
Worry creased his forehead,
But his eyes held his charms.
He lifted me with grace.
And he was my only lifeline.
He strokes my hair gently.
"Shh." He crooned. "You'll be fine."
The flames begin to die,
As we walk away.
"Please.." I whisper.
"Dont leave me. Stay."
He looked into my eyes.
And I knew who he was then.
He was my angel savior.
And he flew us away once again.
Now I have him with me.
And never will I let go.
His wings beat to my heart's rhythem.
And he'll protect me forever, I know.
